Building systems that heal generations
The GenerationAll Policy Center (GAP Center) is the advocacy and systems change arm of GenerationAll, focused on creating policies, partnerships, and public initiatives that reduce toxic stress, prevent abuse, strengthen families, and interrupt cycles of generational trauma and sexual violence.
We believe healing cannot rely only on individual services. Lasting change requires systems that recognize trauma early, support families holistically, and prioritize prevention alongside accountability. We look at gaps in the system and advocate for change to address them.
The GAP Center focuses on policies and initiatives addressing:
Sexual violence and trauma as a public health issue
Childhood adversity prevention and early intervention
Survivor-informed policy
Family-centered justice and healing
Education and awareness
Trauma-informed systems reform
Community healing and advocacy
our vision
A future where every child, survivor, and family has access to a system designed for healing and justice along a continuum, rather than fragmentation.
We envision communities where:
Toxic stress is identified early
Families receive coordinated support
Survivors are believed and protected
Prevention is prioritized
Institutions are trauma-informed
Policy decisions are guided by science, lived experience, and long-term family outcomes
our focus areas
our current initiative
Healing Generations in Utah is a flagship GAP Center initiative focused on advancing statewide policies and partnerships that address childhood adversity, toxic stress, and intergenerational trauma.
In 2026, GenerationAll worked with partners to pass HAR0130, which provides funding for validated trauma screens at pediatrician visits across the state. We are currently finalizing the last stages to begin.
policy ideas we are exploring
